Olofsson out 5-6 weeks

This is not a good injury . I am not sure what Krueger does? Does he put Skinner back with Eichel?  That i what I would do.  No doubt someone gets called up from Rochester.  Not sure who it will be?  Scandella is gone, so I would bring Pilut up. I have been wanting him up for two months

That sucks....at least you guys just picked up Frolik he can add some depth.

Buffalo depth to continue to be tested some more.

Sabres were already thin with regards to production even when healthy, Olofsson going down definitely doesn't improve that situation.
Still though, since realistically this is a season where the team is still trying to find its way, it is a good a time as any to see what they really have in their system.

Buffalo fans can probably expect a call up or two, and that Frolik acquisition came at just the right time to add an NHL viable forward up front in light of this Olofsson injury.
Frolik won't account for the type of offense the young player was providing, but at least he knows his way around an NHL rink and could be good for another 20-25 points the rest of the year.
