The Wild with 1 over 30, none over 40, and these are all 33+ year old players aside from Fiala. This is a bad look now; and for the next several years. If I am GM Bill G., this is alarming, and would be my primary focus for year-end performance (inclusive of a full rebuild). We simply must enhance expectations for top lines scoring and get younger ASAP. This is NOT news to anyone on the board, but stats don’t lie, and they are indicative of what is to come. We are looking at a cliff dive into the abyss if Bill G does not address this ASAP. Playoffs this year (should we somehow make them) will only preface years of circling the drain and in the lottery. Not sure I would even be inclined to go all out for them before the trade deadline, I would just scout the he77 out of ways to get younger and more skilled and almost everyone would be available to do so.

EmptyShelf
Perhaps we should trade a young defensemen to Winnipeg for a young skilled forward? Would certainly help us.

bbgarnett
yeah PP should be Kunin, EEK, Greenway, Foligno Dumba/Hunt
Tomdog
In the Toronto game the leafs pp had 4 guys below the face off circles. Wild usually have 3 above. Don't they know scoring is easier close to the net?
bbgarnett
seriously don't ever pass it back to Ryan Suter
EmptyShelf
Just now, bbgarnett said: yeah PP should be Kunin, EEK, Greenway, Foligno Dumba/Hunt Any line combo that is not geriatric and full of AARP members in need of O2 after one rush. How about we at least LOOK at some other line options that have some youth versus the same tired old crap we have seen for what seems like decades. We would rather play catch along the boards and lob change-ups from the point with no one in front, because we ARE smarter than all the other teams. Just look at our results over the years in Stanley Cups
MNSOTA
Afternoon all. Well one would think that the Wild's fortunes will shift....our dishwasher sacrificed itself and had to be replaced. Although, we've only ordered the new one and it hasn't been installed yet.

EmptyShelf
When are Greenway, Donato, EEK and Kunin going to turn the corner if they don’t get the playing time The Club gets (and Fiala now gets)? I don’t know what fans really get their rocks off on watching some of these relics lumber up/down the ice. I would rather see the youth. EmptyShelf
What rubes would feel good about themselves showing up in 11,9,and 20 jerseys? These should be throwback and vintage jerseys at this point. I would like to see a Kaprisov, Caulfield, or other jersey combo prevalent in the stands. Just proves our fans are shills living in the past, supporting an unacceptable status quo.
