2021 NHL Expansion Draft, What Are the Minnesota Wild to do? Some thoughts...

@IllaZilla wrote up this article discussing some of the possible scenarios and tough choices the Minnesota Wild will possibly have with Seattle's addition to the NHL.  Some great food for thought here.  Enjoy and discuss!

A lot of teams are going to have some thinking to do.

Flyers got off lucky in the LV expansion, because they didn't have the depth. Won't be so lucky this time.

No doubt...although Vegas won't have to worry about it apparently.

Dumba, Soucy or Brodin probable goners come expansion draft. That's a hard decision. Right now I'd rather keep Brodin and Soucy.

As of right now, that is where my money's at. None of the Wild's young forwards are that good where I would pick them over one of the Wild defensemen. Maybe Fiala, but he'll get protected.

But who knows. Things can change in a year. Players improve or get injured, trades are made. It will certainly be interesting...

That's not good, I thought it went by games played per season.

There is a games played requirement, but that is for who must be exposed. It’s to prevent teams from just exposing their AHL roster and keeping their NHLers protected.
