As rough as it was for this team against Pittsburgh, I think this game could even be worse. The Lightning are on fire lately, and playing that deadly combination of putting 4+ goals easily per night and not giving up much defensively. That doesn't bode well for the Wild who are playing about as bad defensively as they have all season, especially on the penalty kill where they can't they're are almost money for giving up (at least) one power play goal per game. What do you all think?
IllaZilla
Not sure why I'm going to watch this game tonight. I must be part masochist. Or maybe it's my German Schadenfreude... But I used to love watching the Gong Show...

What do you all think? I think it is not the best time for the Wild team history which already created few questions among media and fans: to tank or not to tank? to trade or not to trade? to fire the coach or not to fire him ASAP? According to our poor standings we have got earlier the last place of Central Division( in January), in comparison to the previous year (if I remember, in March). We badly need some crucial changes in the team. Are we capable to make them? I am very skeptical regarding a tonight game result but still planning to watch. IllaZilla
Looks like Der Kapitan is centering the FOURTH line tonight. What’s the odds on that lasting more than one shift...

TropicalFruitGirl26
I'll be viewing this game like a mom watching her two sons go at it. Is this how Mrs. Tkachuk feels when the Flames play the Senators?
TropicalFruitGirl26
Lightning very fast in the offensive zone, keeping the Wild hemmed in. Minnesota was doing better zoning Bolts players...they tried going man to man, TB is outskating them.
TropicalFruitGirl26
Impressive set up by EEK and Kunin…. Kunin missed the open net though! Lightning dodged one there on a sudden offensive burst by two of the Wild's younger players. IllaZilla
Get a delayed penalty and just pass it around the perimeter before you cough it up. Good strategy Wild...
TropicalFruitGirl26
2nd PP for Minnesota. TB playing a bit sloppy in their end, contributing to Wild PP chances.

TropicalFruitGirl26
Game is starting to look surprisingly chippy for two teams that don't see each other too often. They are probably doing that on purpose to irritate me...
