That said, we were favorites last night! https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/nhl/odds/2020011912-nhl-la-phi/ Let's go Flyers!

OccamsRazor
The Flyers have not lost consecutive home games in regulation all season. They have a plus-32 goal differential at home, while the Kings own a minus-28 goal differential on the road.

Howie58
We beat a team we should beat. Good. Now comes home and home with Pitt. That's a real test. Standings in the Metropolitan are getting tighter, and Columbus is waking up. I suspect playoff positions will go down to the last days of the season. There isn't much room for error/loss. It would be nice to have Hart for this one but at least they are coming off a win with Elliott. Hopefully it won't come down to goaltending. Joel Farabee with goals in back to back games it would be very well timed if he was to come alive now and things begin to slow down for him and he become a solid scoring threat for the the team. Hope he can keep it up. They need all the goal scorers they can get. It's the Pens they have been known to get up for the big games and they are at home so i expect a win. Then over a week off before they face off again. Points are getting scarce now they can not afford to squander them any longer.
OccamsRazor
One of the biggest issues with this team is right were they are sitting...barely in the playoffs...only because they have one more point than the Canes but they have played one more game. So it feels like typical Flyers they can't do it the easy way they play so up and down that it seems like they are going to need some help in the end to get into the playoffs all because they can beat the team they should like they always shoot themselves in the foot. It would be nice if they could ever build a cushion and you know actually TAKE a playoff seeding. Same ol Flyers....i really really hope this doesn't rub off on the youth...the remaining core of the ones left once the chokers move on. Don't taint the youth.

He has won his last 4 starts vs some good teams. NJD shutout Canes 941% Boston shutout Vegas shutout Doesn't bode well for the Flyers. They are actually tied points and games played but CBJ has more ROW 25 to 21. So the loser would get the Caps the first round if the playoffs were to start today. AWESOME gift! OccamsRazor
Can the new top line of JVR, Giroux and TK maintain their scoring touch??? It was Claude's first multi point game in his last 8 games. Only his 2nd multi point game in his last 28 games!!! I'm down for whatever gets the Captain to be productive. And that line basically won the game that and Elliott closing the door. Edited January 19, 2020 by OccamsRazor EVERY POINT COUNTS!!!!!!!!
