No Soucy for a month... Well. It's a chance for Belbedio. And Mayhew playing as well. Interesting to see. Hope they use their chances to get into the limelight.

I don't think either Mayhew or Belpedio will play today since this would be their 3rd game in 3 days.  But fair possibility we might see them on Tuesday against Columbus.

So...if they lose this game do we see a fire sale on Monday?

Hopefully this is Dubnyk's last start in the Wild jersey. Is there a playoff team in need for an experienced back-up goalie? The Canes maybe?

Well Carolina just  had to re-call both of their minor league goaltenders...

Why the effin' hell is Klyde back on the top line?!?!?!

The fact that he refused to waive his no-trade, I'd be sticking him in the press box.

yeah I was thinking that too but I think they'd probably sign a guy like Scott Darling who was just bought out by FLA. But it also sounds like they might be in serious discussion with Chicago so maybe Lehner and or Gustafsson

Yeah, it was wishful thinking on my part, thinking of ways to offload Dubnyk on someone else.

Oh boy.....Justin Morneau and Joe Mauer announced our opponent for the Winter Classic. And it's the Blues.

Yawn. Being that the Wilds have no rivals or star players they chose the defending cup champs. I'll be selling tickets out front then heading to the bars for NCAA football

I have a solution to our Wild problems.  What are yours?

Can we just take a team building trip this summer up to Yellowknife and somehow ‘lose’ 11 and 20 in the woods?  That would solve our problem with the cancerous players and contracts, as they haven’t technically been cut or traded, just lost to the native wildlife.  Then, we could institute a minimum flexibility and speed standard for all forwards to earn a contract - that should take care of any potential interest in re-signing the Klydesdale. Just dump Dubnyk at deadline for a bench blade sharpener or some numbers for ‘chuck a puck’ at some mini mite tournament.  Problems solved, more cap room.  Sign Kaprisov, make a smart draft pick, bring up Khovanov or other young forwards and move forward.

I didn't hate their game in this one. I think the Blues were just that much better. Having written that, I now keep getting second thoughts: "they didn't have a chance against a supposedly better team, but what if we had had a Zamboni driver in goal..."
