6 in a row. Rest up gang.

Very very tough back to back coming up at Caps on Wednesday then the Canes the next night.

Can they keep the streak alive???

So would you start Elliott on the road and then Hart at home the next night???

Is it too early to be done with him?   I'd bring back Bunnaman and let Thompson serve popcorn for awhile

It's only been two games so far no sense of rushing judgement.

He does need to play smarter and eliminate the penalties.

Highs in the mid 70s today. Will be in the mid to upper 80s this week.

Florida has as many first round wins in the last seven years as the Flyers do.

I'd imagine his Stanley Cup rings look pretty good on the beach.

And his $26.25M guaranteed salary probably feels pretty good, too.

Nah. He's a pro. I thought both were a bit ticky tacky, especially the 2nd. He's gonna help us down the stretch here. Solid 200' player that does a lot in our end, amazing puck support down low, several examples from today's game. Smart player. He stays.

Good sounds like he is the perfect fit for Florida and not Philly.

Now when he is fired, I mean retired he doesn't even have to move.

True. I mean, he only beat the Flyers in one of his three Stanley Cup wins.

At least AV has been to the Finals twice...

Jsaq certainly stirring the pot. Wonder what he's cooking?

I don't mind Bunnamen, but I thought the fans called the one and it's pretty early since the trade.

I just prefer a coach who is hungry to win his first Cup instead of a guy who is resting on his 3 Cups resume till he is shown the door.

Don't have time for the latter.

I just think its odd that we added 2 depth players, who have contributed, we havent missed a beat, and there are calls to replace one already

Then again, we are talking about Flyer fans

Yeah I can't say I have watched every second of the last two games I mean once the Flyers got such a big lead in both games (and trust me i ain't complaining - in fact I could get use to this) my eyes wondered to my phone and helping the wife around the house.

So there may have been a few bad plays that I had missed by the new guys that are calling for some to want to bench them already.

But from what i have seen i like their addition especially Grant whom i could see maybe come the end of the year him playing for a return job.

Still too small a sample size right now to call but i have to say these guys are playing very very well.

All the lines are moving their feet and skating and making quick decisions with the puck.

Not all the time but a huge improvement has been noticed by me.

Now I will admit there are still the WTF are you doing moments with Jake and JVR but it seems like a lot less. With is a improvement.

Just keep winning.

It kinda seems like Jake and JVR are playing better of late. Maybe its due to the team winning, maybe my eyesight is shot, or maybe Im drinking too much. But, thats what I think Im seeing

Scary part would be if they played good enough to make you think they were in a slump, so you end up keeping them. Then you go another season with the same ol crap

This assumes their play regresses, yes ?

Maybe their play stays at this level because the coach is holding the players accountable ?

Also, They've spent 5 months working AV's system, they are probably able to play and not think about where they need to be anymore.  Could be why they "look" better.

Assuming AV stays why wouldn't these guys keep playing to this level ?

When those guys are on their games, they can certainly be effective players.

A lot of it is consistency over time which is an open question, but certainly trending in the right direction.

Jake's right in line with another mid-60 point season. JVR's on pace for the mid-20s in goals and a 20/50 season.

No....no I wouldn't.

But then again I wouldn't start him at home either.

I'm not sure why goalies can't play 2 games in a row from time to time.....I mean, EVERYONE ELSE on the team does!!! :NinjaLookLeftRight1:

REALLY awesome to see this team turn around like this and I do think a lot has to do with confidence AND golatending. I've been away/busy so unable to post but figured I'd chime in and join the love fest!

GO FLYERS!! **** is clicking for sure....

Remember that time we won 10 games i a row!!.....(Sorry. had to.)
