He still has ++ skating, he's smart and tough. I missed his tussle with 43, trading with Wilson isn't for the faint of heart he's a brute....but did see Bobby Hagg trading mitts and I also saw Myers give Wilson a punk's chuck during a scrum. Sidebar: Can Myers fight ? he's big and strong and kinda mean. It would be the only thing that kid can't do.... Back to Thompson a few times his singular work led to extended zone time and scoring chances once his mates arrived. Specifically in the 2nd around 13:00 minutes all alone pressured and eventually stripped a Caps D-man of the puck, led to two good shots and Caps penalty that eventually became the Grant kick pass goal. * If i am remembering the sequence right. 44 deserved the helmet, he was a boss, looks like he's found his comfort zone. OccamsRazor Posted March 5, 2020 Share Posted March 5, 2020 By mid season next I expect to see Myers start hitting his stride becoming more comfortable and then showing off more of his offensive skills. This year he seems a little more tentative and I can understand still learning the ropes on the job. So far Chuckles knocked it out the park with his two guys he traded for Grant had 1 goal and 3 assist in 4 games so far and Thompson is leading the troops on the 4th by example.
