Brewin Flames Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 Kings sign Kaliyev and Spence to entry-level contracts Witten by Ben Shelley The Los Angeles Kings have signed prospects Arthur Kaliyev and Jordan Spence to entry-level contracts. Kaliyev is a winger who was selected 33rd overall by the Kings in last year's NHL draft, after many projected him to be a first-round pick. He had a monster year with the OHL's Hamilton Bulldogs this season, scoring 44 goals and 98 points in 57 games and finishing fifth in the league in points. Spence is a right-handed defenseman who was selected by Los Angeles in the fourth round of last year's draft. He plays with the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL and this season, he scored nine goals and 52 points in 60 games, finishing second in the league in points per game average amongst defensemen.
