Flyers history by jersey number

It's a game my buddy and I used to play.  Admittedly, a drinking game... number by number name as many players as you can without using the inter webs.

1 - Bernie, Doug Favell?

2 - Howe, Yuskevitch, Hatcher, "The Count" (Dailey), Van Impe, Adam Burt (don't ask, but it sticks in my head)

#3... up next... go

Garry Galley.  There's a name!

// 5 //

Phillippe Meyers

Kerry Huffman (who was running local hockey clinics near me not long ago)

Frank Bathe

Braydon Coburn

Kim Johnsson

"Izzy" Goodenough (best nickname in hockey - also another who was also poking around local hockey rinks near me).

8 - THE HAMMER!

no need to mention anyone else

How dare you forget the GREAT Shawn Antoski!  Which I thought was a disgrace that he took it almost as soon as Recchi left

7 - Bill Barber

Fun Fact: He was drafted 7th overall. I wonder if that's why he wore #7 or if it was a number he wore in Jr.

Fun fact, I had no idea Sidney Crosby’s birthday was August 7.  8/7.  Found this out when the Pens were eliminated, on his birthday

Aw come on no love for Brad Marsh?  He is was like a second goalie back there, played with no helmet and is still heads up the Alumni wing of the team today!  Love Marshie!!

I'm going to the lake for a few days boys, out near Mike Richards place - I will be sure to say hi if I see him on the water fishing. So no Comms. I'm gonna miss the game tomorrow night but have packed extra bourbon regardless.

Hopefully, this thread doesn't get past #24. That would be a shame while I'm gone.....

Have fun on LOTWs...I hear the fishing is awesome. Missed the game last night for the same reason (only on Lake Huron)

They did and I might get reported for this but, Patrick Sharp.  (Also don’t forget Knuble and Zubrus).

Totally forgot Knuble came around a 2nd time.  The Flyers could assemble an entire team of reacquired players.  Perhaps that's another list...
