yave1964 Posted October 4, 2020 Share Posted October 4, 2020 Complete salary dump by the Hawks, they sent Olli Maatta to the Kings for an ECHL player nobody has ever heard of or ever will, with the Hawks retaining 15 percent salary. It comes down to this, the Hawks save 3.3 million in salary, supposedly to make a run at Holtby or one of the other big boy goalies who are available, the Kings take on a very serviceable 2nd pairing defender to replace Martinez who was dealt to the Knights at last years deadline with very little risk attached.
