It's been a while since I've ventured into the forums. Life has been busy, and honestly with this team, I needed a mental and emotional break from them. Hope you're all well and have managed to avoid our "friend" 'Rona. Alas, I have not. As I mentioned in the preview, I was diagnosed positive on December 18th, and am still dealing with lingering symptoms (for me, cough and laryngitis). With the lateness of the game (or if I'll even be able to watch it, FU Sinclair), I'm not sure if I'll be in here during the game. Also with all the broadcast issues due to Sinclair, it is unclear as of now if we'll be able to have post-game reports. Catch you all later.
Jimtown guy 384
One of the few times I like the late start as I have hockey practice from 7:00-9:00 tonight. Was listening to NHL talk on SiriusXM yesterday while I was on the road for work. They were going over each division on who would make the playoffs this season. I was a bit shocked that 3 of the 4 guys picked the Wild to finish fourth and make into the post season. It starts tonight boys. Let’s Go Wild!!!!! TropicalFruitGirl26 3,915
I am honestly not expecting a whole lot from the Minnesota Wild this season, but in the crazy times we live in now, there could be some crazy results....and some players on the Wild may very well step up their games. Good way for the team to start out their 'transition' campaign is against the three California teams, whom I see struggling as well this season. With the Wild seeing lots of the LA Kings before they see a REAL challenge in the Avalanche later this month, this may give Minnesota a good way to gel as a team. I am particularly interested in seeing how Mat Dumba, Eriksson-Ek, Greenway, and Fiala play as I think those players will be key in keeping this team competitive. Also, I know Cam Talbot is the number one, but hoping Kahkonen takes those reigns sooner than later. Good luck to the Green, Red, and White tonight!
MNSOTA 590
Is it just me, or when anyone says Kaprizov’s last name, do you also hear “Capri Sun”? Kind of like this guy on either the German or Austrian WJC team....his last name was Munsenberger. Every time his name was called, I heard Bunsen burner.
Villette/Lavaux 287
While the top-3 appears to be pretty obvious between STL, COL and VGK with ANA and AZ fading in the bottom, the fourth place remains wide open. I don't see SJ making it and there's a big question mark with LA. The Wild might be a surprise (or half-surprise) by sneaking in to the playoffs.
bbgarnett 602 Posted yesterday at 02:59 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:59 AM Hey all glad to be back. I see that Kunin opened the scoring for Nashville let's hope Bonino can do the same for us.

EmptyShelf 270 Posted yesterday at 03:32 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:32 AM seems that ice is as 'off season conditioning' as some of our players may be. Just grabs pucks. Not much glide at all.....
EmptyShelf 270 Posted yesterday at 03:34 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:34 AM How about Suter, Parise, and Greenway for Dubois? Solve a few problems, and get a potential top C. Columbus would never oblige, but I would pick that phone up on the first ring.

EmptyShelf 270 Posted yesterday at 03:46 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:46 AM Suter just sucks. What a weak effort to prevent the whiffed face-off. Goal Kings with 1.5 seconds left. I really despise his effort.
