yave1964
Through the first week or so, here is my top five and bottom five TOP FIVE 1) Knights. My God what a perfectly constructed team, not a weakness anywhere 2)Lightning Still undefeated, still Champs. Still the class organization in the game today. 3)Canadiens It looks as if every move this offseason is paying off from Romanov, Allen, Anderson and Toffoli 4)Flyers taking right back up where they were last year among the leagues best 5)Flames Markstrom looks like the right addition in net. BOTTOM FIVE 1)Hawks simply dreadful goaltending and injuries galore to a bottom feeder 2)Sabres 1-3 start a nightmare for a team that went all in 3) Canucks goaltending a mess, Pettersson starting glacially slow 4)Kings Winless but playing hard 5) Jackets 1-2-2 start, the Torts watch is on and they will have to trade their best forward in Dubois

Only Flyers fans could complain about having a team that's 1 point out of 1st place in their division, and coming off a season where they nearly won the President's trophy and the Stanley Cup. Have the Flyers played the Bruins yet this season? How did the league resolve that issue of the two franchises with the 1.000 lifetime winning percentage? Did the NHL award 2 points to BOTH teams? (Seeing as how neither team ever loses I'm just curious.)
