Odds and ends 2-16=21 Leafs collapse, Stars game snowed out

Recommended Posts

The Leafs jumped all over the Senators last night, up 5-1 with seconds to go in the second period and on a power play, Nick Paul scored making it 5-2 starting a rally that ended with a wild 6-5 win for the Senators in overtime with a late tying goal by Dadonov who won it in overtime. Sum up the game like this the leafs took their foot off the gas and showed no heart.

Stars/Predators game postponed last night, my first thought was oh crap, who has covid now. Nope just a big old snowstorm knocking out power.

Watched part of the Wings/Hawks game, they put on a clinic on how not to play the game.

If you havent watched Carolina this year, please do. All four lines play rugged, the defnse is skilled and they even make Reimer and Mrazek look good. They are the real deal, I would have to rate them as one of the top three or four teams in the game between skill and heart. They simply overwhelmed the Jackets yesterday after falling behind 2-0 they took the game over and had Columbus on their heels all night.

Is Florida for real? After being beaten by the Bolts 6-1 two days ago they gut checked out a 6-4 win against Tampa last night. The optics dont look right, they make a ton of mistakes at both ends but the record is fantastic.

In other words: An ice hockey game has been postponed in Texas because of winter conditions.

Still sounds weird...
