Samifan
Do you think he will actually clear? My guess is that he will end back up in Tampa.http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=386047 Edited January 26, 2012 by Samifan
doom88
Can the Flyers stash him in the AHL until Winnipeg games roll back around?
flyerrod
Tampa would be my most likely guess but the other options would be Columbus or Washington........

flyerrod
Washington has Vokoun, Holtby and Nuevirth. Is someone hurt?Nuevirth is playing like Bryzgalov and I don't even recall seeing Holtby play. Obviously they Caps are having issues and Niitty would be an inexpensive shot at shaking things up a bit. Truthfully I just picked the only teams in the league that had worse stats than Bryzgalov........
hf101
Nittymaki cleared waivers. I think he will likely play in Finland.
radoran
Nittymaki cleared waivers. I think he will likely play in Finland.$2M is a pretty dear price for a backup goalie. Wouldn't surprise me to see him back in the NHL next season. Wouldn't surprise me if he's back in Europe for good.

Howie58
Seven years ago he was the goalie of the future. Then the torn labrum and the strike. And then the worst season in our history. I suspect he goes to Europe. Best,Howie

Samifan
nhl.com is reporting Nitty was just loaned to Syracuse of the AHL. They are the farm team for Anahiem. I wonder if he reports?
