Game 20: Flyers at Penguins; 3/2/21 @ 7, NBCSP

Greetings:

We were the underdogs until about 2 this afternoon:  Crosby's absence makes us a mild favorite:

https://www.vegasinsider.com/nhl/odds/las-vegas/line-movement/flyers-@-penguins.cfm/date/03-2-21

Over the last 10 games, we have a better record but the teams seem equal statistically:

It looks like Hart versus Jarry.  Interestingly, neither has a save percentage over .900.

LGF!

I really, really, really hate the fcking pengooins! 🤬

Yes, that seems to be a common sentiment/belief/religion in these parts. It will be interesting to see if that continues when Crosby goes?

Interesting to see Bunnaman out and Patrick on the 4th line.

The last few games that was one of the best lines on the ice. Now we'll see if it changes with Nolan on it at center.

And well i guess Mark Friedman can't harm the Flyers from the sky box.

I will never not hate that team.

Crosby is a symptom. That team is the rot.

I've heard that Cindy is out (COVID list).  Can't confirm as of yet.  Eklund whispered it in my ear.

Greetings:

In the "for what it's worth column,"  look at how announcement of Crosby's absence changes the odds over time:

We have become the favorite.  Will we live up to it?

Howie

Well at least now it won't be Crosby AND Friedman scoring on us.

NAK comes out of the lineup, @CoachXrejoicing

This is interesting.

I thought he played very well last game only like the Captain lacked finish.

This is a guy you need vs the Penguins.

Only thing he needs to do is take shots more he creates chances off scrambles for the puck.

But i guess AV is sending a message. Just win this game no matter what.

Not sure if i will be able to see the start might be a good thing.

Flyers need a spark plug player. NAK could be that. I'd like to see him be more physical

That kid Farabee was in a Buf players face last game. We need more of that

Do you ever hear a little voice in your head saying, "Don't hit send?"

classic Jake...

enters with speed, looks like a superstar as he stick handles around the entire defense, then throw a pin point pass to a wide open defender

what a douche
