Agree with all of those moves except Kimmo. Briere is a huge part of salary cap and for as much as we're paying them he needs to come up big all year round.

Did you see how Richards actually handed the Cup to Carter? They could not have scripted it better themselves.

If you go on the Kings website for the big celebratory pic with the cup Richards is actually looking up at Carter instead of the camera. Those two have a very intense bromance going on.

Hey guys, I had a really long defense of Carter written so I put it in the form of a blog called still a Carter fan. Thank you Supporting Member for posting that video from youtube cause it helped me with one of the points. I don't think it's gonna change your mind but I just thought you might like a devil's advocate for some of the points that have been made.

It seems likely that Pronger may not be back on the ice next season due to the onslaught of injuries he has faced since signing with the Flyers. With that said who does everyone want to see be the next captain of the Flyers? I would personally love to see it go to Timonen because he has been with us forever and always gets passed over but Giroux did show some real leadership this year.

Honestly, I would love if Jagr came back to play for us. I think we have a lot of young talent who could learn a lot from watching him play although we are still stacked when it comes to offense I think it is a move that could truly pay off for future seasons. Hopefully the price tag would come in at 2.5 mil but I'm actually kind of honored this is where he's finishing out his career.

The thing that Carter always did for us is get the puck to the net and he has been doing that for the Kings. With this highly defense oriented series that is a big thing and there aren't a lot of Kings that have been taking the shots. Out of the forwards for this series Williams has 11 followed by Carter and Richards who have 9 each. The rest of the forwards have six or fewer shots on goal. Taking the shots has always been Carter's thing and an offense boost is what the Kings needed.
