Ok , so the isles made the playoffs last year. Its about time. If you really look who's almost always in the playoffs, spend the max trying to win the cup every year. Clearly you want to sign with that team. Streit was one of the reasons they made the playoffs and almost beat the pens. Now he might be ours. We're both very young teams and have a bright future. My money's on the Flyers.

Why would we trade him? He's very cap friendly and he's a good player. Who would we trade him for? Draft picks? We can't bring anyone back because of our cap issues. I say trade someone like Hartnell. He makes waaaay to much money for waaaaay too long. We've got Simmonds, Mcgynn and Schenn who are basically the same player but a lot younger...

If Edmonton needs a dman. How about coburn and our 2nd for their 1st pick? Or... name a man on our team they could have... Someone said it earlier, we're stacked with 3-4 pairings. Average and overpaid IMO. Schenn being the exception. He's young and looked very good in his first year.

You're definitely in denial. Almost every post you make you mention the Boston goalie responsible for the pens demise. At the same time you say none of the bruins could crack ur third line. You got beat by a TEAM playing cohesive hockey. From the forwards on back to the goalie. Along with the refs letting BOTH teams getting away with murder. The bottom line is that the bruins smoked ur mighty pens in 4 . Move along. And as far as following the military chain of command... hockey and the military have a completely different set of rules. You should know that.

They've definitely got some character issues in that dressing room. I think it all falls on Cindy. He's a great player no doubt but what veterans like iginla and morrow want to follow a player like that? He's a little baby and everyone knows it. Look at iginla and morrow. Both captains who must cringe watching Cindy dive and cry every game. Those two guys are orange and black material if I ever saw one. Lunch pail, blue collar type players. BTW, can we get one of those 2?
