HockeyLady Posted September 15, 2017 Share Posted September 15, 2017 SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today the club's 53-man training camp roster for the 2017-18 season. Florida will have 31 forwards, 17 defensemen and five goaltenders attending training camp. The first on-ice session of the Panthers training camp is set to begin at 10:25 A.M., on Friday, Sept. 15 at the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, Fla. Click here to download the 2017-18 Florida Panthers Training Camp Roster Florida will open the preseason against the Nashville Predators with a doubleheader at Bridgestone Arena on Sept. 19 at 4:30 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. (ET). During preseason play, the Panthers will visit the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sept. 24 at 4:00 P.M., before hosting them for two 7:30 P.M. games at BB&T Center on Sept. 26 and Sept. 28. The Cats close out their preseason schedule on Sept. 29, at the Bell Centre against the Montreal Canadiens (7:00 P.M.) The opening weekend schedule for the Panthers 2017-18 Training Camp is as follows: DATE TIME SESSION Friday, September 15th Group A: 10:25 A.M. - 11:40 A.M. Group B: 12:00 P.M. - 1:15 P.M. On-Ice Saturday, September 16th Group B: 10:25 A.M. - 11:40 A.M. Group A: 12:00 P.M. - 1:15 P.M. On-Ice Sunday, September 17th Group A: 10:25 A.M. - 11:40 A.M. Group B: 12:00 P.M. - 1:15 P.M. On-Ice Monday, September 18th Groups A & B Scrimmage: 10:30 A.M. - 11:45 A.M. (Stadium Rink) On-Ice Tuesday, September 19th Florida Panthers at Nashville Predators (Preseason Doubleheader) 4:30 PM & 8:00 P.M. (ET) Preseason Game On Sept. 16 and 17, the Panthers and OneBlood will be hosting a blood drive at the Panthers IceDen during training camp to support those affected by Hurricane Irma. Each day's blood drive activation will take place from 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Each blood donor will receive one free public skating admission voucher to the Panthers IceDen.
