I have to admit, I haven't watched an overabundance of Leafs games but I will be this season, in getting Centre Ice. But I've somewhat followed Reimer's career since his inception with the Leafs (as he's the son-in-law of someone I know), and though Bernier has not had enough games played to make a fair enough comparison, based on his technique, maturity & composure in net, he looks to be overall the more consistent tender so far. If Bernier continues this first-rate type of play, it won't take long for the decision to be made for #1 goalie. Imo, I think he will be one of the top in the league & I truly hope he makes it!

I think the black jerseys are a vast improvement for the Kings, I particularly didn't like the huge crown crest..I'm also wondering if it's a bit of a 'spin-off' of the LA Raiders black & silver unis? The crest is even slightly similar in shape. I'm definitely not a fan of the Sen's alternate jersey with the big 'O', but I think your #1 pick is also my fave, I almost like it even more than the Blue's home jersey, really like that blue & the yellow is a nice contrast. The crest is very classic looking, with the note & the arch. I would almost make it a tie with the Nucks' alternate jersey with the 'stick in the rink' logo, nice vintage. Nice post!

A nicely written & documented piece, Tret. Boy, those 70s photos are so nostalgic & bring back childhood memories for me. Really interesting how goalies & coaches looked down on the masks, refusing to change. Seems so absurd to us now..haha. But I also grew up in an era when you didn't wear seatbelts either or have baby car seats!

Ah, thanks for that, I didn't know they resembled the original Sens' jerseys. Then that definitely gets points based on the nostalgic vintage theme...kudos to you for that!
