Actually his second game... His first game he had three assists against Koln. 3+4 in two games though, and him G are really tearing it up. See the goals here... http://www.del.org/de/videos/page/217--217--.html?v=97712
Good news for me... It's a hell of a lot quicker to fly to Berlin than Philly. And lower bowl seats for less than $50 a ticket too. Could see a couple weekends away there soon. The bad news is the NHL ain't coming back until at least January, if then
He didn't have to work real hard tonight but one or two tricky stops... His confidence must be through the roof right now. And also the first Flyers goalie in over a decade to pitch three straight shutouts... Finally earning his money and it's great to see.
You do realise that Zherdev doesn't play for the Flyers right? And hasn't been under contract since last year...? Not exactly convincing me I should take your team knowledge and insight seriously there man...
I care too much since the late 80's. I care so much that I stay up till three in the morning to watch every Flyers game streamed over the internet... I care so much that I fly 4000 miles to Philly twice a year to watch the Flyers... I care so much that I still pay $160 a game when I visit the WFC. In other words it costs me $7000 bucks a year to show my support and that means I'll damn well boo if I want to when no effort is shown or when our goalie does a fair immitiation of a collander....
I completely agree... vision, tenacity, skill, the overall package is incredible and he isn't at his peak yet IMO, though he's starting to get there...
I love his physical agitating play and the hits that he throws... remember the hit on Doughty? Big clean hit, Doughty did not come back. I'm pretty sure it was Zac who cleanly hit Jack Skille last night and he didn't come back either... That sort of big hit can be a game changer, in more ways than one.
Hmmm well the guy involved in the play lives with Dale Hunter... Obviously been receiving an education in how to cross the line... Cant wait to see the two remaining games between the Hounds and Knights later this season...
