If that's the case, I think he should be shut down to get surgery. I'm not ready to join the bob apologists yet. That was simply a bad goal fundamentally.

With all due respect Alaska...mthat was not the correct play. He sagged back way too much and gave rupp the screened shot. Now, if it was gaborik, maybe he needs to do that to respect the deek. Not the case with rupp. As someone else said, he made the right play for the rangers.

They just needed to keep things simple and get in front of the net. He can't always stop what he can't see. They didn't do that. Maybe it was tough defense by the rangers or unwillingness to take the punishment... Or both. But, it seemed Lund had an open view of most shots.

I felt like the worst calls went in our favor. That was not a game I'd blame on the refs, by any means. The difference was team D and the goaltenders. Bob let in one very bad goal and one questionable one. The one bad goal was enough to be the difference.

that's why i'm wondering if this is the beginning of a very acrimonious divorce. this does not have the makings of a happy ending here. bryz is really putting gasoline on the fire. i predict we will have the all time high count of F bombs from lavy in this week's 24/7

I think he really pissed off lavy today by leaking bob as starter. That will make things pretty interesting from here on out.

Truly awesome event. I was never into the old fart games before, but I guess I'm an old fart myself now, and that was really awesome to see all those players out there again. It's amazing just to see them skate as they did in their playing days(just not as fast). No one has the same strides and it was just so cool to see them out there... Truly like going back in time. The goal with lindros and leclair was just priceless. I thought the staging of Clarke and lindros looked awkward, but I think it served its purpose.... The feud is officially over. Just amazing to see him wearing a flyers jersey again. That's something I never thought I'd see. It was enough to warm this old farts dead heart.
