I wouldn't be worried about the age of the d corps for the Pens, I think they have a good mix.  Letang and Johnson are the only two in their 30's and both are at the peak of their careers. With the youth of Maata, Riikola and Oleksiak, I think we are set for the the future.  With Dumo and Shultz(sad injury) at Mid age, we have a pretty good mix.   Not sure how we are stocked in WBS, I know Erixon(sp) was up here a bit last year, but I don't know much about the Baby Pens status.

Haven't heard anything.  But then again, since the season has ended, I haven't been following much in the world of hockey.

Yeah, they hired Gallant back in April.    He coached Florida for a while. 

We all do, in those first few years when he was flopping around like a fish I think I pulled most of my hair out. Now?  Well you have to give him is due so far. 

Jane, please don't mistake some friendly kidding for anything other than that.  Its just fun giving to our fellow fans.  If you go back through my posts this year, I think you'll find that although I don't mind Fluery, I was saying for the long term benefit of the team to trade him, and I was dissappointed after the deadline that he was still here. 

As for Murray/Jarry. Yes Murray is back in practice, and was backing up Fleury last night.   I have no idea why as he was in ONE practice prior to the game. 

No, he's just not in the lineup since both Maatta and Daly have come back.   Right now he's fighting for the 7th spot with Ruhwedel.  So unless someone gets hurt, he'll be in the press box. 

I didn't see anything with Hainsey, and the Pens are so secretive that we'll never know where he got injured.

As for Malkin, from what I've read, he's had an  issue for some time now, and I think the Pens simply put him on ice to heal.  

At this point of the season, they're in, and health is more important that seeding IMHO.

Nope, no more snow for me.  I'm officially a South Carolinian.    Instead of shoveling snow yesterday, I had to empty the sand out of my golf shoes. Its a tough life, but someone's got to do it.
