Good effort by entire team tonight to hold off New York tonight for most part and lucky they didn't blow it again in overtime...

Lines for Monday loss against Philadelphia:

Dube/Lindholm/Toffoli

Pelletier/Kadri/Huberdeau

Mangiapane/Backlund/Coleman

Lucic/Ruzicka/Lewis

Hanifin/Andersson

Weegar/Tanev

Zadorov/Gilbert

Markstrom

Another embarrassing loss against a crap team...at least Gilbert beat someone up though...Gilbert is left shot he should be on left side with Weegar or Tanev then Zadorov can play with a righty either Weegar/Tanev that would balance those 2 defensive pairings better...I'd put Gilbert with Tanev so each defensive pairing can have a fighter Weegar is the better fight out of the Zadorov/Weegar line of course and Andersson can fight too...

Finally a good win after almost blowing the game by holding Arizona to only 15 shots the entire game but allowing 3 goals...anyways the only change in our line up was replacing Ruzicka with Duerh and Duerh did not disappoint he was fast all over the ice and hard on pucks hopefully Sutter will keep same line up but with Markstrom in net tomorrow against Las Vegas...

New faces from deadline day Calgary traded away Brett Ritchie and Connor Mackey to Arizona for Troy Stecher and Nick Ritchie who is of course brother of Brett who we just traded away...would have been nice to keep both Ritchie brothers here but maybe we'll get Brett back in future...I like this trade it improves our skillsets at both those positions substantially👍👍

Lines for Monday win against Dallas:

Pelletier/Lindholm/Toffoli

Ritchie/Kadri/Huberdeau

Mangiapane/Backlund/Coleman

Lucic/Dube/Lewis

Weegar/Andersson

Hanifin/Tanev

Zadorov/Stecher

Markstrom

Calgary had 2 goal leads twice evaporate and was lucky that Toffoli scored hand winner depth seconds to go in regulation...Ritchie looked good on second line I like having a tough guy there with Kadri since Kadri gets under peoples skin and moving Dube with Lucic is good too since having Lucic on same line gives Dube more confidence to be more physical too...also having Stecher with Zadorov gives that pairing more speed and Zadorov will make sure nobody picks on Stecher too...all in all the new guys fitting in well in the win tonight...

Exact same lines as yesterday from the overtime loss in Minnesota...0-0 going into overtime so can't complain about the defence today and Markstrom got the back to back start and was obviously stellar so it looks like these will be the lines going forward their defensive play seems solid enough with Ritchie and Stecher fitting in well...

Lines changes for Sunday win against Ottawa:

Pelletier/Lindholm/Toffoli

Huberdeau/Kadri/Dube

Mangiapane/Backlund/Coleman

Lucic/Lewis/Duehr

Weegar/Andersson

Hanifin/Tanev

Zadorov/Stecher

Markstrom

Convincing and dominating win for CALGARY 5-1 as Huberdeau goes back to his normal left wing and Duehr in for Ritchie...putting Huberdeau back on left wing where he's played his whole career seems to spark the offense so hopefully he'll stay there for rest of the 15 games haha...also the defence pairing seen to be working good too with Stecher paired with Zadorov👍👍

Not sure why Sutter changed lineup after such a good win against Vegas last game but at least got a point tonight...totally don't agree with taking Lucic out of lineup though...

Only change was putting Pelletier in for Duehr but on left side and Dube going on right...plus another night with Lucic benched in maybe the worst loss of the season tonight in Los Angeles...well hopefully Sutter goes back to the same lines that won in Los Vegas...not sure what Sutter was thinking in first place switching all the lines after such a dominating win in Los Vegas...

Lines changes for Tuesday Anaheim game:

Mangiapane/Lindholm/Toffoli

Huberdeau/Backlund/Coleman

Ritchie/Kadri/Dube

Lucic/Lewis/Duehr

Hanifin/Andersson

Zadorov/Weegar

Gilbert/Stecher

Markstrom

Calgary already leading 3-0 in the 2nd and already looking good to bounce back from yesterday embarrassing loss to Los Angeles...Lucic back in lineup and Tanev out with injury so Weegar gets back on his strong side where he should be...these lines already looking better as Calgary dominating so far...hopefully Sutter keeps Lucic in the lineup and keeps these forward and defensive lines until playoffs...
