One more possible scenario for the 2023 Hockey Hall of Fame induction ceremony since Keith Tkachuk's son, Matthew Tkachuk, and the Florida Panthers are going to knock Rod Brind'Amour's Carolina Hurricanes out of the playoffs and go to the Stanley Cup Final...

Another possible 2023 Hockey Hall of Fame induction scenario...

Pat Verbeek

Keith Tkachuk

Rod Brind'Amour

Alexander Mogilny

Jennifer Botterill / Caroline Ouellette

Howard Baldwin (Builder)

Bill Dineen (Builder)

Since the Hockey News Magazine did a 4-part special on the World Hockey Association this year, which included a section on Howard Baldwin and his New England Whalers, who became the Hartford Whalers when they joined the National Hockey League, and then became the Carolina Hurricanes, and Rod Brind'Amour won the Stanley Cup as a player with the Carolina Hurricanes, and Rod Brind'Amour is currently the head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, and they lost to the Florida Panthers and Matthew Tkachuk (Keith Tkachuk's son) in the semi-finals of this year's Stanley Cup playoffs, the following could be this year's Hockey Hall of Fame inductees...

Pat Verbeek - a 500+ goals club member, played for Howard Baldwin's Hartford Whalers, won the Stanley Cup with the Dallas Stars in 1999. Other possible Hartford Whalers inductees for 2023 - Mike Liut, Ray Ferraro, or iron man and 6-time Stanley Cup winner, Doug Jarvis.

Keith Tkachuk - a 500+ goals club member, father of potential 2023 Stanley Cup winner, Matthew Tkachuk.

Rod Brind'Amour - Stanley Cup winner and 2-time Selke Trophy winner with the Carolina Hurricanes as a player. Current head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes.

Howard Baldwin (Builder) - Owner of the New England Whalers / Hartford Whalers. Hollywood producer. Later part owner of the Minnesota North Stars and Pittsburgh Penguins. 1 Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh.

Bill Dineen (Builder) - Father of Kevin Dineen of the Hartford Whalers. As an NHL player, Bill Dineen won 2 Stanley Cup championships with the Detroit Red Wings in 1954 and 1955. He went on to become the head coach of the Houston Aeros for six seasons in the World Hockey Association, and won the Avco World Trophy in 1974 and 1975. He also coached Howard Baldwin's New England Whalers for one season. He then became the head coach for the Adirondack Red Wings in the American Hockey League and they won the Calder Cup in 1986 and 1989.
