The 2014 National Hockey League Draft is now in the books. A total of 210 players were selected in the seven draft rounds.

PLAYERS BY COUNTRY

A total of twelve countries were selected at this years NHL Draft in Philadelphia. Here is a breakdown of the counties, number of players selected, and the percentage of players from that country.

Canada – 77 players – 36.7%

United States – 67 players – 31.9%

Sweden – 27 players – 12.9%

Russia – 13 players – 6.2%

Finland – 9 players – 4.3%

Czech Republic – 8 players – 3.8%

Latvia – 2 players – 0.9%

Switzerland – 2 players – 0.9%

Defensemen – 65 players – 29.0%

Goaltenders – 21 players – 9.4%
