You guys almost got it. I shut off at 3-2 B's but looked like a tight game with Mason making a difference for the most part.
Rask did a better job he faced more shots than a bartender.
-
Better than I expected but not as much as I hoped for.
-
The Sixers won so anything can happen?
-
I would much rather see Raffl on the 2nd line and McGinn riding the bus.
Ideally:
Raffl-Giroux-Voracek
Hartnell-Schenn-Simmonds
Read-Couturier-McGinn
Rinaldo-VLC-Hall
Something is off with VLC and this probably is not going to motivate him into playing better, but there is a "log jam" and he clearly is the weakest link at center. I can't wait to see how this contract looks in 3 years......
Started off the season OK but after the injury he was never right? JMHO

A little help here. Am I seeing hings last two goals Timmonen is looking at the net and not the men with the puck???

Ah right, I forgot. I don't think there are many armadillos in Philadelphia so I guess that's not a problem.
No Armadillos but a few armed dildos.

At my age it is memories that help us deal with the fact NO CUP for I don't even want to say it. Win the CUP and I may forget those days. Nah probably not.

Crosby is a talented player no doubt but he does not wear the super star mantle very well. It is hidden behind his whining facade.
-
Emerick is unlistenable. Other than making fun of his constant made up verbs and adjectives that have absolutely nothing to do with hockey or sports for that matter. Half the game chat was spent repeating his comments with a ? following it. Jai Lai or however you spell it was his latest moronic attempt to rewrite hockey play by play. Oh, and swallowdge. (OK,rux made that one up)
Who hired this idiot in the first place?
The whole broadcast team are pro Pens anti Flyers.

It's not just because they're Flyers fans. Nobody is allowed in with anything deemed unfit for family environments. Seen plenty turned away.
@Vanflyer thanks for the links! I bookmarked them.
@doom88 quite welcome my friend. This is my weekend to act 20 again.
Listened to the game in the car on iHeart radio. Sounded like the Pens were in the box a lot that game. Deserved or otherwise. But no Flyer fan can complain. I managed to watch the 2nd and 3rd, and after Hall's Oscar performance in the diving pool, and Downie's reckless elbow to Megna's face, I don't wanna hear any BS whining. . Though I'll grant you that last push was offsides by 3 feet.
Seemed like a good game overall from Flyers perspective. I don't understand our special teams issues this weekend. 2 PPG against and a SHG again? That decided the game.
Bortuzzo needs a long vacation in Wilkes-Barre. He's not ready yet.
No more Flyers fans picking on players refusing to fight after Downie wouldn't go with Engelland. Especially with his Marchand like antics.
Overall good win by the Flyers. And honestly, with all our injuries, I'll take the majority of the Pens effort as well. They seemed to start playing hockey again after spotting a 3 goal lead.
Didn't the Pens win 3 games in a row with this lineup?

Malkin has not lost his diving skill. Ref jumps at the chance to make the call.
-
Kerry Frazer states,"The call was correct.: The call was mute due to the terrible PP.s by the Flyers.

The whle team was just off from Mase on out any time you get 3 scores from the Dmen and lose there is a problem. It wasn't what the Leafs did the Flyers were their worst own enemy in this one...it happens i guess they are lucky they fought back and got a point. Hartnell to me is killing the 1st lines effectiveness too with his puck bobbling....would love to see Raffl back with G and Jake.
Hartnall does not belong on the roster but since he is here he should be down on the 4th line.
-
Great puck control problem is you are in OT and they both should have been taking shots instead.I think I meant Schenn,
Not sure if this can be seen? Let me know please.

With a big lead it seems there is also a tendency to play not to lose. Don't take a chance on looking bad by making a mistake when they should still be aggressive.Although in this NHL 4 goals is not a big lead just a good start.

Better make it a case of Tasty pies so there is enough to go around.

Hard work on the ice is contagious let's start an epidemic.

Actually both JVR and Carter with 20 goals where is Giroux is 14 goals. Just saying about trades Flyers did. Flyers trade 2nd overall for some puke defenseman.
Patrick Shap is also among he leaders. Clarkie said we have too many centers and that is why he was traded?
-
Maybe the talent i snot there? Couple that with a not so good work effort and this is the product that shows up on the ice. Having said that I have to question why so many times they have come from behind and have led in hits. They can not afford to coast till OT and or a shoot out. They don't have the goods for that. JMO

Then to top it ll off Berube calls a timeout Carolina was beat and guilty of an icing. Not sure what the Hurricanes would have done if he did not call the T O>> but maybe they would have to use their own T O, Not even sure that would have made any difference but it was not the right move. JMHO

I know the game is not on SNBC and so far I do not see it on Center Ice. Anybody know different?
-
Even a deaf and blind person could see and hear that adulation add to that doc's hatred of the flyers and you throw in Eddie O and you have a Trifecta of bias. Right on Freddy.

Miller made some good saves but too many shots into the pads plus some terrible puck handling lead up to the S O which should never have gone that far.
