  1. You made pretty good points. Building a strong chemistry was our problem since Yeo days or even before that time. One our line (Kaprizov-Hartman-Zuccarello) is still has a nice chemistry, but the other 3 are not. Regarding our coach I have a controversial opinion. From one side I like that he is a brave person to experiment with different players like he did with Kaprizov-Rossi-Boldy or placed Boldy-Rossi-Faber in OT, but from the other side I do not like that he got rid from the team players who made some noticeable impact to the team like Kulikov; Steel; Addison. Like I said before, everyone does mistakes especially young players, but this way they are getting more experience and building more chemistry too. They are not robots. Of course preferable, to have less mistakes, but those are always happened. From the last interview with Kaprizov (yesterday) that he has a nice friendship with Zuccarello and Kulikov when he mentioned 6 players-friends in his career. Why did we destruct that important relation between Kaprizov and Kulikov when we got rid of Kulikov from the team (he played 80 games with us) is still a question for me? They had a pretty nice chemistry then in our team.
  2. Not only for us, and probably, in NHL history. 2 SHG and 5 PP goals in our net in one game. Embarrassing result. Team was not able to compete. We need to build a chemistry for 3 lines (Boldy-Rossi- Johanssen; Foligno-Maroon- EEK; Duhaime-Dewar- Vinni Gaudreau(hope he will recover soon from his injury) as soon as possible and to build a chemistry among defensemen as well. With that play we are not fit to any round of the playoff. And maybe we lost a confidence to with that play too. Just hope we will not be the last team in our Division this season. I am glad that Kaprizov was not injured by Suter during this game. Unfortunately, he was hurt badly by him. Same story as it was during the playoffs last year between Kaprizov and Suter. At least I was right for this game in predicting 11 goals, but in predicting everything else for this game I was completely wrong. Sad. Sad. Sad.
  3. All I want from this game to see a competitive play entire 60 minutes and to get at least 1 point. Still predicting our win 6:5 in OT.
  4. As more we will argue with fans from other teams as better our team will be in front Fleury to get a historical record in NHL and personally for our club. Hope this will happen soon and will boost our team to a better play and to more wins. Hockey is a team sport. I am sure the Wild staff and some players are reading our forum.
  5. But we had in our history only 1 Division title, zero Conference title , zero trips to Stanley Cup finals. But he won 3 out of 7. I am still happy that he at his age is making our history. No doubt that he will win his 6 wins with our club and be a 2nd goalie in entire NHL history in winning games. Sadly that he will not do this before his birthday on November 28, but hopefully before the end of this year. We badly need his wins as well Gustavsson wins too. We need lots of steal games to improve our standing position.
  6. I agree. It was much better game for us, which we should win. Disappointing loss. I was listening that game during my driving to Litchfield. It seems we made 35 shots vs their 25 and had 2 PP goals. The most active was the line Kaprizov-Hartman-Zuccarello which was able to produce almost 50% of shots (15) towards opponent net and had 4 points (1 goal;3 assists). The other lines were not as active. I agree. Kaprizov should stay closer to the net. Closer to the blue line should stay nice shooting defensemen capable to protect the puck better and have a nice strong shot during our attacks. I do not know who could be this defenseman? Maybe Brodin or Faber? But both had mistakes too. I think to look better in our standings well, we need lots of ugly and deflected goals too, which we do not see yet. Congrats to EEK for his 100th goal! Not sure about the game on Sunday against Dallas. Too tough team to play against. It seems they are playing tonight against Winnipeg. Hope they will be tired enough to play against us well.
  7. We hope that he will make for us at least the same as he did for Penguins. Any little is valuable a lot for Minnesota. He is making a history for NHL as well as for our club too at this time. Just needs to have 6 more wins to be a second goalie in NHL history with 551 wins.
  8. Actually, I placed similar message during our last playoffs season when we played against Dallas. We had a chance to win that round, but didn't have lucky bounces to pass 1st round. I even put a percentage on 70% plays the role of better team and 30% luck during the game. Regarding underachieving bunch in Minnesota is a big question who is more underachieving team Minnesota or Buffalo? ClusterChuck is right Wild never scarred any team. But we made 10 playoffs seasons since 2012. We passed 1st round in 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons and missed only playoffs in 2018-19 season. Regarding article on April 4;2023 from Athletic, Buffalo Sabres missed playoffs for 12 straight seasons, the longest active drought in pro sports. The Sabres last played in a playoff game in April, 2011. Every team in the league (besides the newly Kraken) has played at least 25 playoff games since then. Six NHL teams have played 100 playoff games since April, 2011.
  9. Fleury played last night and played pretty well. Our team was not too good in front of him. Probably Gustavsson will start tonight.
  10. Thanks for posting here. Yes, you have a chance to win this game too. The better team will be the winner. No doubt.
  11. I started to be a skeptical if Ovechkin will ever pass Gretzky record in goals. Just in one category "maximum goals production in NHL career". In my opinion, we should not compare records of Ovechkin and Gretzky in other categories, because they played in different era, different hockey, different teams. Ovechkin started his season in a very unusual for him low production. This why I am skeptical now if he will be able to beat Gretzky record.
  12. We have a chance to win this game. Entire team should be motivated to win this one. Predicting our win with a score 4:3 or in regulation; or in OT; or in SO. It does not matter how we should win this game, but it matters to start winning in permanent mode. Probably, Greenway will be motivated to play against us too. Last night we showed a nice strong 2nd period of pretty competitive play. Are we capable to repeat that play in entire 60 minutes tonight?
  13. It seems we made in that game Rangers goalie Domingue as a great goalie. Just looked for his stats. He didn't played since season 2021-22 in NHL when he played only 2 games for Penguins. Before that he played only 1 game for Flames in 2020-2021 season. And tonight was his 1st NHL game in Rangers uniform.
  14. Kaprizov should start producing more goals, to shoot more and to take an example from Panarin, but not from Ovechkin this season. Rangers commentators said that Panarin already made during this season 20 points (7 goals;13 assists) in 12 NHL games, which is a 2nd record for NY Rangers history. 1st record for NY Rangers was made by Pavel Bure (20 points in 11 games). Anyway, we have so far only 12 points(5-6-2) in 13 played games, but Rangers have 21 points(10-2-1) in 13 played games this season. Big difference. We should start winning more games if we want to get into playoffs this season. We have a good potential which we need to use in full, but not partially.
  15. Sadly, we placed just one goal in 60 minutes, which was not enough against such a good team.
  16. Game is over. Sad loss. We should play all 60 minutes, but not one period. I am still thinking that Kaprizov is playing better with Zuccarello and Hartman, but not with Boldy and Rossi. Johanssen is better fit for them. Overall, no questions, Rangers were better than us.
  17. We limited them to only 3 shots in our net during that period. Such a different opposite 2 periods for both teams.
  18. We are playing better at this period. We have more chances to score than in the 1st period.
