  1. I should just go listen to this in my office.....I need to clean it up as my ISP is sending a technician on Wednesday. I've been having some weird tech issues while working. I did everything I could and my work HelpDesk and I can only think it's something network related. When I called my ISP on Friday, the lady on the phone could see SIX ERRORS on my downstream. I don't know about you, but that would probably explain some of the audio issues I've been having on some of my calls.
  2. Shoot me now.....Falness is repeating Kaapo Kakko's name over and over again.
  3. Also, I think I will make these potatoes.....the garlic will negate the coconut and almond: https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/the-best-and-easiest-vegan-garlic-mashed-potatoes/
  4. I make my own almond and cashew milk......when you just use nuts and water (no sweeteners), it's pretty mild. Earth Balance makes a really good vegan butter, and you put enough butter, salt, and pepper in your potatoes, it negates any mild nut flavor. I got this handy new device for making my own milk: https://almondcow.co/
  5. Homemade cranberry sauce is soooooo easy and so much better than the canned stuff. I like the cranberry sauce recipes that call for fresh ginger. Also, pumpkin pie is the EASIEST of all pies to make.
  6. I'm lactose intolerant....the Bob Evan's ones are hard enough on me. I may try making some vegan ones (vegan butter and almond milk) to see how they turn out.
  7. I highly recommend the Bob Evan's mashed potatoes in the refrigerated section of the supermarket.
  8. Sadly, I'm not getting a turkey dinner this year. With switching departments at work, I am working. I have Thanksgiving itself off, but I have to work Friday and Saturday. Since we only have one car (I work from home, so why bother with more than one car), the original plan was to meet LIG's parents in Eau Claire Wednesday night and I would have the car. I was planning then on going to Rochester (the location of my extended family's gathering this year) and then drive home after. But with the crap storm of weather coming our way, I don't even want to drive to Eau Claire. Maybe I'll get a turkey breast that I can toss into the Instant Pot and make a mini turkey day dinner (and leftovers) for myself.
  9. Count your lucky stars......Falness is doing play by play again tonight. He tries way too hard when the Wild score. The ONLY person who should get the play by play gig when Kurtz retires is Joe O'Donnell who does the play by play for the Iowa Wild. He's been with our AHL affiliate for quite a long time, moving from Houston when the team moved to Des Moines.
  10. If it's my family's stuffing, it's stuffing no questions asked. But at other houses, I would have to test them both before I make my decision.
  11. You want a job? It's getting harder and harder to write these things.
  12. Good on you. Trust me, too many people don't take precautions.
  13. Okay, back to radio.....the viewing angle wasn't really working for LIG. You do realize that everysports site is NOT a secure website, right? If I were you, I'd be using a VPN with that site or at the very least, running an anti-malware program after you watch.
  14. Well we broke down and are watching on my Mac. I’ll be running Malwarebytes later.
  15. Unfortunately, I don't have an HDMI long enough, plus I don't think we have an empty spot on our HDMI splitter.
  16. With an AppleTV connected to our TV, I could then AirPlay, or mirror what's on my Mac's screen to the much larger TV. It's really nice.
  17. Does this mean I'm going to have to buy an AppleTV so I can AirPlay the game to my TV?
  18. Well we only have my MB Pro and LIG's Chromebook to choose from. We like our computers too much.
  19. I know there are live feeds out there, but considering some of the nasty adware messes I have to fix at work, I avoid all "free" streams with a vengeance.
