Just a comment/question, because the reports I've read is he should be cleared for all activity 2-4 weeks from now.  So that should put him on the ice for August.   Has something changed there?

He'll hit the ice in 4 weeks that is correct. What I meant was that fans won't get the opportunity to see him until Training camp since he can't participate in rookie camp or activities.

Well, Voynov is a much better defensman than Macdonald hands down. I would love to see that trade. LA moving a black mark off their roster is going to cost them, but they're going to have to deal with it. His cap hit is also less than AMD and one less year. That would be nice, I'd welcome Voynov. Although I heavily disagree with what he did, I'm a man of second chances and he would be a welcome addition to the blue line. 

I didn't realize Toffoli was a RFA. I had this list and the only RFA from the Kings was Jones. However, if a player like Toffoli would cost compensation and you had a shot at signing him would you do it? Next year's draft class isn't suppose to be as deep as this draft, plus if the Flyers plan on returning to the playoffs, they won't have a top 10 draft pick. I'd take a run at him. 

@tretiakCCCP20 Thanks! I watched an interview with Chicago's GM in 2008 and said to my wife while watching it, "They're going to win a cup within the next four years." He said, everything they were doing during the "Rebuilding Phase" and it made perfect sense! 

@ronjermy I contemplate how good the Flyers would be with Doug Hamilton, but the Flyers were still counting on Pronger when Coots was drafted. They didn't think ahead.

The Ottawa Senators are my pick. Trying to keep a prediction streak of 5 straight years. 

I liked "the doop" and "Bro hymn" but the song before that I don't even remember the name or who it's by, but it was bad..... "Song 2" from 2003/2004 was my favorite. 

I'm a big fan of Huberdeau. He's going to be a treasure to watch for sure. I like their team, but I think a well rounded coach in in order.

It tough that they're injured but you have to look at your GM and see if he's done a good job with depth and the farm system. Very few teams have good depth and this is where good GMS and great GMs differ.

Interesting you went with Toews, over Ovechkin, Stamkos, Kane, Giroux, Kopatar, even Illya Kovalchuck.

Toews is a great young talent and one hell of a leader, but I think Giroux is much more of an NHL Face than Towes and Ovechkin, given his status, a bigger face than Giroux.

Ruff is a hard nosed coach. He's a great coach in my opinion, however as we all know, tenure at one team can lead to a coaches style to become stale. Perhaps he's coach far too long at Buffalo. He'd be great for LA.
