I like playing the young guys also but you need some vets out there for them to learn from..Gonchar would be a good journey man to fill in for this year..imo at this point we should have just overpaid for Carle

considering he was a healthy scratch most of the year for the Leafs I have little expectations for this guy...don't blame it on pressure either..Philly will be just as brutal to play in front of as Toronto...in the end the Leafs got the better end of the deal..imo

the scary part is his backup is Leighton...so if Bryz has his usual meltdown were screwed...atleast Bob was able to steal a few games for us..

we also don't have a goalie than we can play a defensive type game..I always expect Bryz to give up atleast 3 goals a game..he's so overpaid and overrated it's pathetic..

I'm not being negative I'm being realistic..being a long time Flyers fan we've seen hundreds of guys like Jake never amount to anything and never deliver a cup..

the downside could be if he really is lazy now that he's got the big contract there is no incentive to play hard...

I agree he is going to be a goal scorer..just not this year..predicting 40 goals a year is a little of a stretch don't you think?
