i have been behind the jagr signing since day 1 and the guy has done nothing but prove it was a good decision to bring him. he's scoring regularly, him and giroux are phenomenal together. plus all the young guys say how great he is with helping every one out and just being an all around team player. i actually had a dream last night that jagr scored a hat trick lol. dont know who they were playing, but i dreamt that he took a wrister from the slot and burried it. he gave the salute and everyone started throwin there hats on the ice lol. hope it comes true sunday night!

thats exactly why i like it. i get the tradition thing and all that. but the flyers have only had what, 3 different jerseys? i dont see what the big deal is with branching out and trying something new. it still has a classic look to it. to me, thats the one thing that irks me about the flyers organization. they are too hung up on the past. havent won a cup since the 70s and have lost how many since? what are they 2-8 in cup finals? lets change this look up and get out of the 70s for a change.

What are your thoughts on this Flyers team? I am having a difficult time feeling them out. Some nights they look unstoppable, other nights not so much. I figure a lot of that has to do with all the new faces and new lines they are juggling with. I know they have a ton of potential and can outscore just about anyone, but how do you feel about the team as a whole this far into the season? Is this a legit stanley cup contender? do they need to make a big move at the deadline to acquire some defense? Hopefully they continue to improve as the season progresses. It has certainly been an entertaining season, I am looking forward to watching this team grow and get better. Its going to be one hell of a ride!
