  1. Huh? Did I miss something? Private joke?

Brodeur married Melanie Dubois (a native of Saint-Liboire, Quebec, Canada) in August 1995 and has four children:[49] Anthony, born in 1995; twin sons, William and Jeremy, born in 1996; and Annabelle Antoinette, born in 2002. Melanie filed for divorce during the 2003 playoffs amid reports that Martin was having an affair with Genevieve Nault, the wife of Melanie's brother.[50] The incident added some fuel to the fire for hecklers during the playoffs.[51] The reports proved to be true, as Martin and Genevieve married in June 2008.[52] Their first child together, Maxime Phillipe Brodeur, was born in November 2009.[53]
  2. The important thing is bang into Marty as much as possible. Evidently the NHL has relaxed the threshold on goalie interference. The Ranger/Sens game seven has a great example of the Sens banging Lundquist around. So lets keep the ball rolling!!!!!!!!

So the Flyers should send his sister-in-law out on the ice?

  3. If all goes well, that sounds about right. You gotta figure Marty is gonna steal at least one game so lets just hope Bryz does give away more than that.

I think Caps/Rags could be decided in 6 and it will come down to who ever gets the better goal tending. Money is on Hank but this kid Holtby is playing beyond his years.

Plus the Rangers can't score goals. They didn't look too great in the first round and Lundqvist stole several games for them. It can't last forever against a good team.

  4. Exactly, we don't like him because he's a girl lipped punk beotch. I suggest you make this point on a consistent basis until your buddy gets it

He never will. He tells me he thinks it's unfair that people write off Crosby as a d o u c h e when he's a great guy off the ice and blah blah blah. Crosby is just as whiny off the ice and tries to play diplomat but whines when it doesn't go his way. He doesn't get that Crosby is just an immature punk. Sure he's only 25, but he's been in this league for 7 years. Sean Couturier is more mature than Crosby at 19 years old.

  5. Nice. Crosby jokes are appropriate in any round of the playoffs

My friend, a Penguins fan, thinks that Crosby jokes are because people are jealous of him. I outright told him the jokes are because he's a b i t c h.

  6. The Capitals played a good defensive game but they have very little firepower and didn't face a pure offensive team like the Flyers. Plus Boston wasn't as good as everyone made them out to be. I don't see why the Flyers couldn't handle anyone in the East with ease (minus the Rangers) barring they play like they did in Game 6 every game. Holtby is the man but he has a weak glove and the Flyers have the shooters to exploit that. It would be a good series but I'm not too worried about the Capitals.

  7. How in the world did TOOL get brought into a Nickelback discussion? Tool has more originality in Maynard's left pinkie than Nickelback!

The funny thing is Nickelback has been with Roadrunner Records --- which distributed some of the best and heaviest bands in the world

since the early 90s (Sepultura, Slipknot, Machine Head, Soulfly, Zombie, etc) -- and they wrote some fairly decent heavy songs back in the day.....

but, once they had a Top10 hit -- I guess Roadrunner saw the coin possible w/ these guys -- and they basically ended up writing the same song,

over and over and over again..... and the girls kept buying it.

  8. Thought I'd bump this up again as it would be nice to follow these trades through a few years.

Through the first round of the 2012 playoffs -

    Richards - 5GP, 1G, 1A, -1 - 2pts

    Carter - 5GP, 0G, 2A, -1 - 2pts

    -----------

    Voracek - 6GP, 2G, 5A, +1 - 7pts

    Schenn - 6GP, 2G, 4A, -3 - 6pts

    Couturier - 6PG, 3G, 1A, +3 - 4pts

Holmgren really **** the bed with those trades. I'm probably going to start rooting for the Oilers now.

  9. Honestly, from the one replay I saw, it was kind of impossible to tell if Malkin hit his head or not. It looks shoulder on shoulder to me but at the same time could totally be a shoulder to head hit. I thought the Kennedy hit was worse. I was pissed they didn't call that a charge and then ten seconds later we got a charging penalty.

  10. With our luck, we'll buy him out, he'll get picked up by the Leafs or Islanders and have the best 9 years of his career ever shutting the Flyers out every game he plays against them while going on to win 7 Stanley Cups for his next team. That's how things work out for the Flyers. It really is a curse. Hehe.

That's the other thing I'm scared of. He'll suck here and go play somewhere they don't care like for the Islanders and win 5 straight Vezinas and 7 Cups in 8 years.
