I honestly don't care what Bryz, or Mason did on other teams. I care what they do for Philly. And right now in a very small sample size, Mason is blowing the doors off. And for a lot less money. And even cheaper next year.

Well you can't know how he is going to perform for many game in Flyers, but my guess it would not be anything better then last year in the Columbus. This is reason every team has a back up, that plays 20-30 games and steal 50 % of it, as hope. I see our defense and game in own zone is bad as it could be, some commentator said Flyers is worst in the own zone give away. Mason is back up and will be back to rest of his career, it's just Flyers fans are making him like he is already Henrick L. He is not he won couple meanless games at end of the season. Come on people wake up. Bryzi is not a best but he can be one of the best with right defence and system. Mason is other hand just back up.

He's had back to back mediocre (at best) seasons. He's ranked somewhere between 36th and 43rd in goaltending stats.In a 30 team league.That isn't what he was paid all that money to do. Mason, even with his terrible Columbus #s is at least ranked on the first page of goalie stats.

Yes he is 36 in terms of GAA but Miller 38 spot and both teams suck. But he is 9 (time of ice) right after Miller, but Mason 36.Last year bryz is 21 in GAA and Mason 44, the worst then him was Roloson. At same time last year time on ice: Bryz is 15 and Mason 27.So I don't see Mason is better then Bryz.

I think he played farely enough good this short season. It could be better result but when your captain is -7 this season,it is not much to say. We need Richards back, but without Carter.

I would say it's more Talbot bad plays in his own zone he is even worst then Briere. Since Briere has never known for good defense , but Talbot was brought for defense mind, but this year he is no defense and offense. I was watching this game from different prespective, as casual hockey fan, so I noticed Flyers has more talent, if and when they want to play actaully, but me this team don't want to play at all. It's somehting missing, it sparks once in the while, when they got pissed off but very fast it glow off. I'm not sure the problem, also they are allowed a lot shot near the goalie, so seems to me they all hate Bryz, so may be he need to be buy out and trade it. Toronto for Kessel. Kessel struggles this season, so Leafs are might want to unload his contract, and this change could be a good for both players. I'm not sure if I or Flyers want him here but it could good, since Shenn is becoming a good player for defensman trade.

i think it's way out from contract, Flyers will pay his odessey to space which should about his contract money and he is giving up Flyers as team. I think it's good deal for both team, then he can come back to play hockey if survives during his odessey.
