hf101 Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 True, there were 5 other d-men playing, but are you forgeting that some of Bryz's problems in October were due to communication breakdowns in the defensive end and they were for the most part when the other defensemen were on the ice. Add that to the observation that Pronger isn't replaced by just any backup d-man and a few bad bounces of skates and Bryz is down a couple of goals. Within minutes this team is playing from behind.As for the next month, if the defense isn't able to play better in front of Bryzgalov this team will have more losses than wins in the month of December.
