The build up to the game as rivalry week or whatever and Flyers can't be flat to play them

Especially with King Henrik not playing.

Bottom line Flyers have no team speed and puck possession other than Jake Voracek

And when Flyers go against fast teams they have problems

See they're not that slow.  No team is that slow.  They just don't know what they're doing.  Some are slow, but the overriding problem is more about being tentative than about being slow.
