Tampa Bay's prospect pool makes me seethe in jealousy

Looking at Tampa's currently iced lineup alone is enough to make a man envious.

The oldest contributing players in the lineup are no older than 28-30 years old. Garrison, Filppula, Callahan, Boyle. Stralman, Bishop.

Most of their top talent and key pieces are Stamkos, Johnson, Hedman, Palat, Kucherov....all 21-24 years old.

As well as some guys who contribute a bit less, but are young, Killorn, Paquette, Connolly....21-25 And of course, a 19 year old Drouin.

A team that rich in young talent must have brought up the entire farm right?

Nope.

Namestnikov, a 22 year old 1st round pick was playing well, but they had no room for him.

Vasilevskiy has franchise goaltender written all over him. He has just performed at every level, and it is rare to see a goalie taken in the first round anymore, let alone top 20.

Slater Koekkoek is a 10th overall pick with top 4 offensive D written all over him.

And good old Anthony DeAngelo, 1st round pick last year who leads his team in scoring in Sarnia despite playing 15 less games than the #2 player. And from Defense!

Tampa's only problem in the foreseeable future is that Stamkos and Kucherov are up for Contracts the same year.
