GunnerBill
1. Is there any specific reason why the All stars games are 3 on 3? 2. I see this a lot at our local Hockey matches. A penalty is being taken and the two players face each other waiting for the puck drop. Then one of the players goes away and another player comes in to replace him. Why? Sometimes it seems the ref may have sent him away others it just seems like a last second switch. I've been watching a year and still haven't figured it out! Kings Redeem LA
Methinks the NHL All-Star game went three v. three because an NHL insider or two wants to highlight how much four refs clog the ice. Just kidding: https://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/why-the-nhl-killed-its-all-star-game-format-and-went-3-on-3-214435015.html What's the league called where you watch games in the UK? Your answer could depend on that and their rule book. Cheers.

Kings Redeem LA
That's cool to hear about hockey in the UK! I wonder how often they duke it out with nearby Scandinavian leagues I wasn't able to find a rule book specific to the SNL but maybe this'll help regarding faceoffs: https://www.nhl.com/bruins/video/know-the-rules-faceoffs/t-277437088/c-43456903
