  1. That will be my backup plan...definitely, that and listening to the draft via some online radio feed. Hope the russian chick is "viewable" from a Danish IP. Yea, I am from Denmark, went to UNCC (Charlotte) though.
  2. @pods yea I've haven't been posting for a while. but I read quite often. So I'm around. I might try TSN eventhough it is only available in Canada. I'm wondering if I use Hotspot shield or Hidemyass if it will work? they are both programs that will let you surf whilst hiding you IP....just thinking loud here....maybe that won't work since they probably filter out all non-Canadian IP's.....or maybe it checks up against the IP of the country (in my case, they would see that a guy from Denmark is trying to view their content) and then block me out....but if I hide my IP they can't see it is from Denmark or any other country. I wonder if they filter out unknown IP's. Damn...too many questions. All I know is I have to watch the draft tonight, if it means spoofing my IP so it looks like its a Canadian IP, so be it. I have no idea how to actually do that, but I got a few hours to find out
  3. I really need some help to watch the draft online somehow. I live in Denmark, and the draft coverage is obviously non-existent on this side of the pond (unless you live in one of the european hockey countries). I know the NHL network provides a free live stream for rounds 2-7 but NOT the first round, which is the one I want to watch obviously. Does anybody have ANY information on how to watch the first round of the draft tonight online? help would be much appreciated.
  4. Makes me sick to see Carter score an overtime winner in the freakin' stanley cup finals. Happy about the trades and all, but still, overtime winner in the finals?? can't stand it that there are articles on the net saying how clutch carter is. The guy did nothing in the playoffs for the Flyers.
  5. No doubt Quick, Brown and Doughty are the key players during their Playoff run. But Richards has a big hand in it aswell. And as far as the kings go, if they win the cup, i'm sure they will feel they won the Richards trade, eventhough the regular season shows otherwise.
  6. I, like every one else I presume, like what Homer got in return for Richards and especially Carter. No matter what happens now or in the future, Flyers will always be winners of the carter deal. Voracek AND Couturier and Cousins, the carter deal was a rip off and Flyers will always win that deal. However, if the kings win the Cup we will have lost the Richards deal big time! I like Richards and all, but I can't stomach seeing Richards and Carter lift the cup...These two were supposed to be THE players in Philly for a long long time. Management traded them because they felt like they couldn't get the job done, and if the Kings win the cup, homer would have been wrong (especially about Richards). I'm glad we have Schenn and Simmonds. But, wow, I'm telling you right now, if they win the cup, all of Flyers management will feel sick! "rotten core", etc, and then go on to win it all the very next season on a new team......yikes. I HOPE NOT!
  7. "Why would you move Jagr from Giroux's line? I wouldn't touch that line at all." The thinking was that anybody would be able to play with Giroux, so I figure to put Briere up there with Roo and Harts. Jagr is a great puck carrier and I feel would play well with either Briere or Schenn in the middle.
  8. I'd really like to see the following for the playoffs when/If all are healthy: Hartnell Giroux Voracek JVR Briere Jagr Talbot Schenn Simmonds Read Couts Wellwood/rinaldo and taking out JVR: Hartnell Giroux Briere Voracek Schenn Jagr Read Talbot Simmonds Wellwood Couts Rinaldo
  9. 4.5 per year 4 years I can live with that...a 26 year old top 4 d-man in the NHL. 1.2 mil raise. We just need to come to terms with that Coburn has developed into a nice shut-down d-man (who should show his mean streak more, cause it is there) and NOT a high scoring d-man. The guy can hit (when he wants to), skate very well, move the puck, and he is our longest tenured flyer. As long as he doesnt get a NMC/NTC I'm good with this.

    Lavi:?

I disagree. I don't think lavy is the problem. Actually when it comes to the forward group I don't see many problems. Sure, some players could pick it up (JVR, Simmonds, voracek) but that is the flow of the NHL regular season. Hot streaks and cold streaks. You will have your consistent point producers (Giroux, Pronger, Briere) and you will have guys that will frustrate you due to streaks (Read, JVR, Voracek, Simmonds, Jagr, basically everyone). JVR does crash the net, but again his playing style and aggressivenes will fluctuate and probably be relational to his point production (i.e hot streaks). This is normal for most players. I do not put too much emphasis on a game to game basis. 82 games is ALOT of games, to be able to have the determination, concentration, and focus to play up to your best ability EVERY game is too much to ask for in my book.....no I rather players follow the same path as Briere and Pronger....play good and smart hockey during the regular season and pump it up in the playoffs (and of course during key regular season games/stretches) We are fine....defense on the other hand ayayay
