    Crap

Crap x4 this game. I think game is over and the playoffs season is 500% is over too for the wild club.

Gustavsson was a biggest disappointment this season. As well as was Gaudreau. He has only 4 goals; 10 assists; +/- -19 in 61 games. In SO he was not good this season too. For $2,100,000 per season. How much cost his goals per season? Last season he had 19 goals; 19 assists; +/- +10 in 82 games. The other disappointment is Johansson. He has 10 goals;18 assists; +/- -11 in 70 played games for  $2,000,000 contract per season. Last season he had almost a point per game(18 points) in 20 played games for the Wild team (6 goals; 12 assists;+/- +6). For those 2 players are the worst stats this season.

Nah, Firstov can stay and play in the AHL.  Seems like Liam Ohgren will be joining the Iowa Wild too.

If the Wild want to see what they have in Adam Beckman; now would be the time to give him an audition in a Top 6 role or they should just admit they have given up on him.  Also would be nice to see Marat Khusnutdinov play with some better linemates too.

As far as Marcus Foligno being shut down...oh well.  As for Hartman's suspension...not surprised.  I just hope it provides some late-season opportunities.

Beckman had an opportunity to play for the big club 3 seasons in a row (total 19 games) And had only 3 assists. This season in Iowa his +/-  is - 14; last year he had +/- +5; and the season before +/- - 13. Personally for me he is more AHLer.

Firstov didn't have the opportunity to play even 1 game for the big club. Why we should not give him this chance? To play for example, with Rossi and Khusnutdinov? Sounds a nice line.

  3. Hopefully, we will have a win tonight. Ideally, if we will win all remaining 9 games of this season to reach a possible point mark of 97 points. Another ideal plan for the remaining season to produce at least 36 goals (an average of 4 goals per game). Of course, more is better. I think it is a real plan for our team. They can do it if they will put a goal to get a win and a maximum production from every game and every line. Especially, I'd like to see a production from lines #1 and #2. Regarding production from lines #3 and #4, I am more skeptical based on my analysis of players stats this season and compared to stats of the last season.

Senators 7-3-0, MN 5-2-3...  Other than those last 10 games - the stats are very close in this matchup (Goal For: Sen 3.19, MN 3.03) (Goals Against: Sen 3.47, MN 3.15)...

Hope we would be better on our home ice. Out of last 3 games on home ice we were able to win only 1 game. Senators were able to beat recently a pretty tough teams Oilers and Jets in regulation.

Since I have never seen a goalie pulled in OT since last time MN did it - you're saying that forfeits the 1 point...?

Also, hate when a game is on Hulu or ESPN+, not sure what determines which games they do on those platforms - but if they want to build the base - makes it hard to keep track where games are at, if you can see them, etc...  Like TNT - where you can catch 5 hours of Rocky movies right before a hockey game...  If the NHL wants to make it as complicated - they're doing it. I've had the NHL package on Directv for 17 years - you should have access to all games...

Yes, that is right - forfeits the 1 point. That was a second time when we pulled goalie in OT. The 1st one did work well when we played against Nashville on March 10th. We won in OT with a score 4:3.

Hope he will get a chance this year to play for the Canadian Hockey team at the World Championship. If the team will win it, then he will be the 1st NHL goalie in the history to be a member of the Triple Gold Club. All he needs to have a gold at this tournament. No one goalie did this before.

  7. All I want to see here Vladislav Firstov  as soon as possible.  Without his tryout at the Wild  club, this 2023-2024 season would be extremely disappointed for many fans in Minnesota. His name reminds me the name of Anatolii Firsov, who was one of the most famous players of the last century and won 3 Olympic golds and 8 World Championships golds:

This is the perfect situation to give Fedotov some ice time. No pressure and a chance to see NHL speed.

Agree. They should give a chance to Fedotov at least to play a half of that game to evaluate his readiness. Missed opportunity. Islanders(77 points) is a better team than Blackhawks (49 points). Anyway, I am really intriguing to see Fedotov's play.
