Wallstedt played last night in Iowa. So I am going to guess its Fleury's start.
I'll assume maybe Iowa in the PO's ? That's why he's playing there and not here.

This is the last game #82 for us (team and fans) in this 2023-2024 season. I only expect on home ice a win from this one to have for the team 40 wins; 90 points and a little bit better goals differential, but not -11. An interesting observation for the playoffs teams in Western Conference , none of the 8 teams have negative goals differential but have a nice positive goals differential. And all teams who didn't make the playoffs at Western Conference have negative goals differential.
By the end of the reg season, They almost always ends up that way. Makes sense.
Since Fleury resigned already, It's not the 'farewell' game... I'd start Wallstedt tonight instead.
For most players doing their last game, They'll either have a Loss or Hoist the Cup.
But I forgot about if not making PO's you can end with a reg season Win.- 1

The last one did Wayne Gretzky in 1991 (122 assists). And Kucherov reached that mark this season too (2nd round draft;58th overall) and has for 2023-2024 season the best record in points 146(45 goals;101 assists). Sadly, but Matthews was not able to reach 70 goals mark this season( and has 69 goals). Lightning didn't allow him to do that last game, when he placed total 12 shots in opponent's net without at least 1 goal.
That's too bad. Few will remember someone getting 69 goals while someone else joined the elite club of reaching 70 same season.

Still it is better than nothing.
Yeah but need to add a number in front of that 7.

IMO this is the path the team needs to follow...but Guerin has to have his 30+ bro's in the locker room...and because he's already paid them the kids will likely sit while the trot out the old bones next season.
Last night felt like a game where the Wild kind of teased us...see this is what we could be, but we won't you know?
We had mentioned if Gogs had a 'Play me X amount of games' Contract. Seen a lot of him lately and rarely Mermis anymore.
Given how the season was going and after the streak after the ASG, Might have been nice to see more of the youth then instead of later.
Always the chance of finding some Gems and chemistry and who knows if they made the PO's then. Just sending out a scrambled lineup of the same ingrediants wasn't going to have us go far anyhow.
Really need to find a way to remove Mojo and Freddie. At least Freddie looks like he tries and wants to do well unlike Marcus. -
7th win against teams above us in Conf standings.

I appreciate a fast pace game with fewer whistles on these West coast games. Just over 2 hours now.

So fun to watch. What’s the odds he’s here in 3 years?
I'll go with the easy optimistic 50-50.

Does Goligoski have some kind of bonus clause that gets him paid for x # games?
I was literally about to type something quite similar.

Cam-Bot has to feel vindicated by having a better year than Gus. With a better team of course.

I'm hoping Hynes does a complete overhaul on every facet of the teams strategy.
When will they stop passing up shots from between the face-off circles to pass to an open man by the dots.
Have to do some firings of coaching staff for that.

If you go by stats then being 30th in league in PK is proof that our 'Passive-D' system is borked.
It also allows way too many in close chances putting a lot of pressure on our Goalies.
Another area to be scrapped and reborn.- 1
