This is so true. The fact that we have a few pp goals the last few games is probably more law of averages rather than strategy. Vegas clearly has a different approach to the pp than we do but their personnel might have something to do with that.

Not likely, and if Eichol comes back and is the same Eichol, Vegas is gonna be hell to play. Lots of speed and tons of skill and goal scorers.

That goal is all because Dumba, after holding the puck for an eternity, makes a ****** pass to a wide open player trying to exit our own zone.

So I live in Georgia which makes the west coast games difficult for me. Had to get up at 5am this morning so all I caught of last nights game was the first period. Just watched the highlights and the empty net goal by Greenway where he had to fight off and outmuscle Burns gave me great pleasure!! Don’t like Burns….

They absolutely are buying in to what Dean is selling. And I’ll tell you something else, with the possible exception of Dumba at times, I don’t see a single player on this team who plays the game selfishly. Even your “team superstar” in Kaprizov, seems to enjoy finding ways to make that unbelievable pass to get a goal if another player is open rather than trying to do it alone. Four lines deep, 7 defensemen deep and all of them pulling in the same damn direction. It’s fun as hell to watch!!

Was just watching the replay of Kulikov’s goal and the assist from Kaprizov was something special. He is so skilled.

We didn’t get out shot too bad and lead 2-0 after one. That’s perhaps the most uncomfortable 2-0 lead I’ve seen in a long time.

I think the key to winning tonight is staying out of the penalty box. The Oiler power play is LETHAL. Commit penalties and we lose.

Great game tonight!!! What a win by the Wild! All four lines were solid up and down along with the defense and Talbot was spot on! This team is so much more fun to watch and the rest of the league and talking heads are starting to take notice. Can’t wait to see what happens Tuesday.
