The Jackets will be the same team after the ASG as they were before. It will, however, give the fans a chance to really sheer again, and lift their spirits.

You know what? I think the cape was the perfect way to highlight how utterly boring and ridiculous the breakaway competition has become. I just don't see the sense of any of the stuff they did.

I liked it actually. I think the silliness factor is what makes it likable. These guys are human too, and Kane is allowed to have a bad season once in a while. But at the same time, this is the sport they love and grew up playing. And these are the same goofy antics they used to do when they were ten.

Funny but true comment by Digity..he makes sh!t up, slings it out there and collects money...at least for a short time. Hard to believe he has a lot of people who will shell out for long periods of time because some of his rumors are so patently absurd (like how the Flyers were looking for a goaltender).

For what it's worth, I have no idea what it is about Versteeg that he keeps bouncing around the League like a pinball. If he's headed for Detroit, I'd expect more of the same. Although they'd probably send Hudler down to Florida in his place, maybe Patrick Eaves.

But don't tell Valtteri Filppula about Selanne..He'll drop some Fruit in his Looms if he heard about that..

This is going to be a huge decison for Zach. From a Flyers perspective, it would be nice to see him go UFA....perferably to the Western Conference...lol.

I'm a member of a curling club here in New Jersey where I routinely help with the ice maintenance. When adding water to the ice, we use HOT water which freezes within a minute of being applied. The water in the bottle was obviously cold after being out in the arean through the entire game. This water would have had no bearing on Read's skating ability.

The worst is over for the Wings schedule wise and we have the best record in Hockey

I wouldn't say the worst is over for the Wings. The have a welcome, long homestand coming up in February, but we have several games left against Chicago, San Jose, LA, Vancouver, and one more showdown with the Blues. The second half of the season is equal at best to the first half, but more games will be played at home.
