    Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the way Homer structured the Weber contract was a $13 million signing bonus upon signing the contract, $1 million base salary last year, then another $13 million bonus this summer. So Nashville has only paid Weber $14 million so far. I'm not sure when that second monus is due, but Nashville can trade him prior to that and not be responsbile for it. So if Nashville does move him, it will be prior to the bonus being due. I have not read this or heard anyone report this, I'm just guessing, but it seems pretty logical.

    Hartnell at 4.5? Jagr just got 4.5 and Carle just got 5.5. If Hartnell puts up 35+ goals again, which he should playing with Giroux, then he will command closer to 6m a year.

    I wanted to post this in the messenger box but since I am new I could not yet. I remember either hearing on the radio or reading somewhere that if Sutter does not resign with Nashville then Weber will not sign an offer sheet with someone, because if Nashville matches it he will be stuck there. So it appears when Sutter signs with Detroit that Weber will sign a one year deal with Nashville then become a FA next year or just ask for a trade.
