Love your screen name. I am 40 years old now and still have not gotten over the 1987 loss. I was in 5th grade at the time and I was in tears and absolutely devastated as that amazing team came within a whisker of beating one of the best teams ever assembled. If only we had a healthy Tim Kerr right? (If they ever invent the holodeck from Star Trek in my lifetime, I am totally programming it to recreate that time and for Tim Kerr to be healthy).
I also love your photo which I recognize from the 1988 playoffs. I was at that game and will never forget that 3 goals down comeback and the OT winner by Craven and that awesome hug. Too bad we blew that series after being up 3-1 which also led to my being in tears. (I loved that team more than any other Flyers team ever assembled)

Thanks for the note dude. We share some similar stories. I am 37 and I can remember the excitement of watching all the games with my dad... most were recorded cause I couldn't stay up that late.
My favorite player was Poulin and that was my first jersey. I played hockey at the time and loved killing penalties like Dave.
Just a really fun time to watch the flyers.... you know... except for the endings.. :-)
As for the picture, I also remember having a book that had that picture on the front of it. I cant really remember what it was... maybe the 89 flyers player handbook or something. I remember that picture on the front and the rest was light blue... or the back was light blue....
