Buffalo Rick
The Islanders have a new home. They leave the building where those dynasty teams they had in the 80's played. Guys like Trottier, Potvin, Gillies and Billy Smith. Back when you had the old wars between them and Edmonton. The Isles domination was just ending and Wayne and his boys in Edmonton were just beginning. But right in the middle they played some really great showdowns. Bye bye Nassau. So I know Elmont, NY is where Belmont is. I thought they were moving to Brooklyn? So I am not sure but I think its still part of Long Island? Have to check. If I ever go to a game there it would have to be when my Sabres are there and on a day when Belmont is running. I would like to go to Belmont once. I have been to Saratoga and Del Mar OK, it is on Long Island. I will be driving right by it in about a month. I am going to Montauk.
