Icechipper
Arguably the weakest yet possibly the most most internally competitive, with the addition of a new team, the Seattle Squid, along with those three California teams, those three Canadian prairie towns, and of course, everybody's darling, the Las Vegas Gamblers. Let's rank em' 1. Las Vegas 2. Edmonton 3. Vancouver 4. Seattle 5. Calgary 6. Los Angeles 7. Anaheim 8. San Jose So jump in, the waters are shark-infested but otherwise fine! Let's see your prognostications. Icechipper
Gary Bettman called, and reminded me that "current NHL-rostered players" cannot participate. Called the Kane Clause, I'm told......
Icechipper
The race for the next big draft choice in on in the watered-down Atlantic. Dave Tippett's Edmonton Oilers are off to a 5-0 start. Dave Hakstol's upstart Seattle Kraken are fighting the low tide at 1-4-1. San Jose improving by subtraction of distraction Evan Kane. Jacque Lemaire's close personal friend Brent Burns, #88, has three assists.
Icechipper
Coach Halstol and Co. broke a skid with a 5-2 home victory over Eastern power Washington Sunday. Donato looked good. Jaden Schwartz of Colorado College 1 goal 3 assists. Carson Soucy of Minnesota-Duluth 1 assist. Caps tough guy Tom Wilson 1 goal 1 assist. The Kraken have sunk to the bottom of the Pacific.
