Our D being way below par makes it tough to figure out which goalie we should go with on a game by game basis.
Both goalies will give up a softie each night so it's up to the D to cover the rest.

I am still scratching my head as to why we signed Spurgeon, a small defenseman, to such a long contract when he was already old.  His fall-off is not such a surprise.  That said, we have 5 more years (through his age 37), which is a Suter-like contract.  He won't be worth $6-8M in his last few years, particularly when we have several young D coming up (Addison, Lambos, O'Rourke, Hunt, and Peart).  Poor decision out of 'loyalty.'

We can't buy a goal.  This is NOT the game I would consider this type of aggressive move.  However, nothing to lose with the way we are playing (and down by 3).  At least he has some

Are passes have been ALL over the place, and our shots have been Wild (no pun intended).  At least the risky EN decision paid off for Kap.  Took 4 minutes, however, and we are living VERY dangerously so far in this EN timeframe

I think he gets frustrated at all the Grade A passes he makes that people simply cannot capitalize on.  This is why he needs to look to shoot more.  I am convinced he would lead the league in A''s if half the players could convert passes they should.
