NHL HHOF
Red Berenson could be the next former Quebec Aces player to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the builder category, after Herb Carnegie. He will beat 7-time Stanley Cup winner, Jean-Guy Talbot into the Hall. Red Berenson was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018. He is one of 16 Canadiens in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. Red Berenson played for the Michigan Wolverines in college, and in the NHL he played for the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, and Detroit Red Wings. He went on to coach the St. Louis Blues for three season, and the Michigan Wolverines for 29 seasons. Two national championships with Michigan. Math
Didn't know that Lorne "my face is my mask" Worsley was playing for the Aces. Last season the Remparts had special jerseys for the 25th anniversary of the team's second incarnation, one of those had the same color scheme (green, white, red, black) than the Aces, with the Remparts wordmark on the top-left bottom-right diagonal. That was a sharp design. Thanks for the Surname corrections, I'm a peaky french bastard on this point

Buffalo Rick
Im unsure of the last year the Quebec Aces played? I suspect 1968? The first live hockey game I ever attended was a regular season finale between the Rochester Americans (my home city and team) and the then defending Calder Cup champs who had Don Cherry on their team), and the Quebec Aces. The final score? Quebec 8 Rochester 7. Tell me that would not excite a young hockey fan? Even though we lost the game, it was a shootout in my first ever live game. I was forever hooked. I do believe that may have been the last game that the Aces ever played?

My memory failed me as I remember the Providence Reds, Springfield Kings, Cleveland Barons, Binghamton Whalers, etc. Dick Gamble played for Rochester and later for short time Rene Robert. The late Red Armstrong, who tragically died in a construction accident later in life. Very popular in Rochester, he was an enforcer.
