But good gawd, John Carlson. The killer 4-2 rebound goal with 3+ minutes to go was all because he didn’t keep up with the trailing skater on the breakaway. And several hardcore Caps fan commenters on the WaPo beat article remind that Carlson was a -4 last night. Someone on this forum pointed out Carlson’s defensive liabilities last season.
